I purchased pedal commander for my 2021 Toyota Hylander XSE. I received it 3 days later. I downloaded The Pedal Commander App. Did step by step installation thru the app. Super Easy install. And my first test drive was as if, I was in another car. Setting was on Sport 1 and my car was taking OFF ! from start. Amazing acceleration and throttle response. Pedal travel is much less and moves my car effortlessly. It's kinda scary how much faster my car is now. I highly recommend it. Worth every dollar !!

I put Pedal Commanders on all my vehicles. The latest is on my 2023 Toyota Highlander. Installation was simple and the results are immediate. I set the Pedal Commander to Sport +2 and smiled the whole test drive. It’s a real difference maker!

Performed as advertised. I would like to see a way to fine tune the initial throttle opening. Maybe the initial 3 to 5 percent of throttle opening you could ramp it in so it’s not so jumpy on initial throttle tip in.

Very easy to install. City 4 definitely removes any pedal lag. And I can see how economy may help with mileage but to sluggish for me .phone app works great and is very easy to use . Overall it does what it says . Removes pedal lag !

I purchased the Pedal Commander for my 2019 Toyota Highlander 3.5 V6 gas. I was very reluctant...because I don't buy electronic gadgets that just plug and play for any of my vehicles. I crossed my fingers and gave it a shot. I was surprised how well it did increase the throttle response. I use the setting of "City 2", and the response is very quick and sensitive. Far better than stock. To me...Pedal Commander is definitely worth the price and makes my Highlander much nicer to drive every day. TY for developing a product that exceeded my expectations!

Plug and play. This is my second Pedal Commander. I have been using my first one on my 2014 Toyota 4Runner for over a year and am really impressed with the ability to drive without fear. The OEM throttle is so slow I was worried more than once of not having the needed pick up in the speed when I needed it.
My fiancé was so impressed with the Pedal Commander when she drove my 4Runner, that I bought one for her 2019 Toyota Highlander. She loves it.

Put this on a 2012 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Before installing the pedal reaction was anemic. 280 hp but felt more like 120. Installation was easy. Hardest part was getting the old clip off of the gas pedal due to tight spaces and inadequate lighting. But once that was off the install was about 60 seconds. Put this on sport +4 and completely changed the characteristics of this vehicle. Launches from a dead stop like a cheetah. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

What an awesome upgrade for just a plug-and-play device! Big shout out to the folks who came up with this, it's really awesome!! Love the way you can improve your gas mileage with the Eco setting and can really get this bugger hopping if you put it anywhere near the sport modes. Really love it! Really love that it's Bluetooth to your phone too so you can put it in the cradle and it's got this cool little cars for different modes. Of course Sport+ is a Ferrari. Made my Highlander feel like a sports car!! Thank you!!!

I bought one of these for my Grandson for his 2015 Camaro and he liked it so much I bought one for my Highlander it works great because the Highlander has bad lag on takeoff and I have a fused right ankle. The Pedal commander can be to violent on the sport+ and plus 4 so hang on. I won't be getting beat on the red light anymore.

I’m a mechanic and have tried about a lot of chips that was useless. I practically give up on performance upgrades until I met pedal commander. My my my me. This is the real deal. I don’t know how long this will last but it is the best performance upgrade I’ve ever tried.. no joke I love this upgrade. Not going to drive any car i own without a pedal commander. My son ordered one immediately for his mustang. This is truly a top notch upgrade.

Loven it already. Went on a short test drive after install. City +3 will be set for wife’s use. I like City +4 so far. So much better then stock. Don’t know what Toyota programmers were intending, stock was by far the worst fly by wire throttle I’ve ever driving. Then try towing, in a head wind.

Pardon me for the delayed response! I haven't installed my New Pedal Commander because I ordered it before my New Toyota Highlander arrived. I'm still waiting, it was built yesterday (7/14/22) but I am very much looking forward getting it installed & in service. I have Used Pedal Commanders on many of my Vehicles. to name a few 2018 F150 5.0L, 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD-Pro, 2022 Bronco Badlands.

Is it overpriced for what it is? Yes. It should be more $150ish. SO I just bought a 2019 HIglander coming from a V8 car. This thing felt doggish even with 295HP. The accelerator logarithms is definitely conservative and very dumbed down. Even turning and accelerating there ia a big delay in transmission downshift. I set the pedal commander to City +2 and it made the car feel completely normal. Less foot throttle input for a decent linear acceleration and also makes the downshifts happen a little quicker due to more throttle input detected for your foot pressure level.This device does not add power. It basically added eco and sport mode to retune your accelerator input with no permanent lasting effects.

This small piece of equipment turned my boring slow 2017 Highlander into a amazing fun machine, I was not sure about the product and the price is little too much, but after asking few other customers here, I wanted to try because I was ready to return my leased truck earlier with a loss, now I am buying the truck and keeping it!!!!!!I keep the setting at Sports+ and it makes the truck go zooooommmm!!!Update : 07/27/19 This thing actually increased the gas mileage in my truck, I am averaging 27.7-28.6 on highway and around 21.5 in city driving!!

The unit does what it says it's going to do. I installed it on my 2019 Camry, and I still have a delay in the pedal. I've noticed that the transmission shifts really quick from a stop.I still like it.

So I have a 2014 Corolla LE with the cvt. I have terrible lag in the throttle and even a pause then slight jerk in the acceleration. Even in sport mod , the car would feel like the car was accelerating how it wanted without the drivers ability to persuade the car to move quicker. I put a injen cold air in and a jet performance mass air flow sensor and a Borla exhaust. But when you step on the gas the car would accelerate slowly regardless where the rpms are and how much gas you give it. It felt unbelievably controlled and hindered by presumably the cars desire for the best government satisfying mpgs. I installed the pedal commander on city +1 and was blown away by the difference! Smooth consistent acceleration with a sense of power and authority. Absolutely zero hesitation and just pure power. Best part is I can accelerate way more quickly without barely affecting the rpms. It’s hard to even describe the transformation it does to these cars. It’s so drastic that you literally feel like no one would ever believe you. Now I want everyone to drive my car just to let them experience what this pedal commander is capable of. This is a just buy it device. I really was skeptical because $300 is a good chunk of change. Now that I know what it does, I wouldn’t even bat an eyelash to pay twice as much. Seriously if your still reading,...BUY IT!!! You will never look back.

Picked this up not quite knowing what to expect, but it's been installed into a 2016 Toyota Camry SE (FWD 2.5 Liter NA 4-cyl). I waited 10 minutes after vehicle shutdown to start the process. The installation was quick and a literal snap! Just unplug the harness from the top of the gas pedal, plug one harness from the commander into its place, then plug the harness from the pedal into the other harness of the commander, DONE. Now just route the cable up along the center console, making sure to be clear of the pedal arm. I was able to mount the command module itself just behind the gear shift, along the top of the center console. Used the included Velcro, no screws.I've tested all modes, and each definitely has its own personality.1. Eco... is sluggish at peak, but adjustable to taste.. Haven't tested it in the long run yet for fuel savings, but looks like it should indeed help you save! I've noted that it is easier to take off in the snow in ECO mode, at its LOWEST setting, -4. However, I do not recommend using Eco in heavy traffic or other situations that may require faster throttle response.2. City. This mode is actually fairly favorable. I haven't quite dialed in a number, YET .. But +1-3 seem nice and balanced. City mode is snappy, but not so bad that you wouldn't want to use it. It will definitely get you off the line quickly without the lag. In snow it can slip a bit, but also seems to dig in and go at other times.. Of course there are many variables to this (tires, street condition, ice, FWD/AWD/RWD, etc). I suggest finding an empty lot after some snow, test it out and find what suits you!3. Sport. Now this mode is very notable from the usual throttle response of the Camry. Very touchy, but once you get used to feathering the pedal off the line, you can then lay into it a split second later. Have noted that not feathering it can make the initial take off a bit jerky. Passing with this mode activated is fairly painless.As a side note, I've an AEM CA intake and performance muffler installed (mellow tone, non-rice) and this module has actually changed the way all of that sounds. It hasn't done so in a bad way, just a bit more aggressive in tone.. Not bad at all.. Now for rain or snow, I do not recommend unless you have some good tires (of course other variables apply). I myself will be installing new/better tires shortly so I may be able to update this review later, but snow and sport mode don't mix well. In sport I was able to quickly spin the tires during a 25-30+ Mph roll. Laying off of it of course brings you back to normal, but it can get dicey.4. Sport + ... Read above, and times it double.In conclusion, this module wasn't a bad investment (opinions will vary). I did not experience any check engine lights or other codes..yet. I will update this review if something arises. Suppose the price could be a bit friendlier.. it is what it is, but it works. So if you're wanting something a little different from your car, more response, then look into getting one.. Afterwards, you can just decide from there! Just know this is for 'Drive by Wire' vehicles, meaning they do not have a physical throttle cable running to the throttle body; it's all electronically controlled!

I had a job once traveling the state and drove many different types of vehicles.I never drove a more sluggish dangerously slow car than a Corolla with a CVT. I absolutely hated the thing. Put a pedal commander on it and now I actually enjoy the car. I don'tknow in other cars but in a 2014 Corolla it is night and day difference. The only down side is the price, otherwise it is a great product.
