I installed the Pedal Commander in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler to overcome a built in hesitation. It did help, but certainly did not take the hesitation away. Even on the Sport + mode there is some hesitation. It feels good right off the line but then there is a spot at about 10%-15% throttle that lags a bit. I feel the Pedal Commander was more expensive than the results I got from it. I would not recommend it.

Total different vehicle with the Pedal Commander. I’ve set it to ECO -4 for my little Nashville commutes. MPG gains are about 3 to 5. On the interstate double it. I’m in a Jeep Wrangler not a rocket ship. So for me it’s the gas mileage. On the trail in Sport Mode +1 I’m leaving the dust behind me. Let’s just say that I have my Jeep the way I want it. Save your favorite settings, you’ll be glad.

If you live in an area with hills, mountains, or numerous bridges, you know as a Jeep owner the lag you have elevating those terrains. Pedal Commander gives you immediate response and power to tackle those terrains with ease. Pedal Commander also allows you to dial in city driving for daily commutes. With 4 modes and 9 levels within each mode for 36 different variations to make your drive exciting. Lastly, installation was a breeze as this is plug and play. I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and the Pedal Commander really works. It got rid of the lag when you accelerate. I started with city mode+4 and it made a difference. I now use Sport mode+4 and response time is quicker than city. No more lagging behind at stop lights and freeway driving is much easier now maneuvering around traffic. It is a pain in the ass to get to the plug at the top of the gas pedal but once you get it plugged in it is well worth the effort. Would have liked to see what it would have done on my 2016 Camaro 2SS. I would highly recommend it if you want quicker take offs while driving. Jeeps are not the fastest vehicle on the road but with the pedal commander you won’t be left in the dust anymore.

Like most automotive enthusiasts, I am always looking for
ways to improve the performance of my vehicles. My Wrangler is no different. I get it. It a Jeep, not a Z06, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement! I had already re-geared for larger tires and while that was quite noticeable, it still felt a bit sluggish. I did some research, read customer reviews and even watched some automotive shows, like TruckU and Gears. All that research seemed to point to one solution… PEDAL COMMANDER! I got an email from Pedal Commander offering $60 off, so I placed my order. It arrived right on time and packed in a nice hard-plastic box. The hardest part of the installation was accessing the plug on my accelerator pedal. It’s tight back there. Once that was done, and the device was neatly hidden away, it was just a matter of programming. I already knew pretty much what mode I would use, City +4, which is the last step before you get into the SPORT modes. Remember, it’s a Jeep. The beautiful thing about the Pedal Commander is that it has Bluetooth connectivity, so I can adjust the settings anytime I want without physically going to the device itself. Now, my Jeep is so much more responsive. No throttle lag at all! The Jeep was always fun to drive, but now even more so! Does Pedal Commander make more HP, no, and they don’t claim to, but it certainly does make your vehicle’s engine much more responsive, which is a great feeling. Especially if you’re merging in traffic, or just want to show off pulling away from that traffic light. So, if your looking for a simple, DIY modification that is something you can actually feel, Pedal Commander is what you want!

Had a stereo system installed and told the guy to install the pedal commander as well and we were discussing different places for the Stereo and I literally forgot about him installing the pedal Commander and when I got to takeoff wrecked my head on the roll bar and I was thinking for a second I forgot how to drive a clutch and it almost happened again and I was like why is this thing taken off so fast what am I doing wrong I thought I was popping the clutch and then I remembered I had him install the pedal commander and I didn’t touch anything it was set up factory and it threw me back in my seat. I bought this for my 392 Hemi Jeep Wrangler and the primary goal that I had was to calm down the Hemi in technical offroad 4WD Low crawling. The Hemi has a tendancy to be like an on off switch when offroading in 4WD Low. With the Eco mode, I am able to really smooth out my throttle and have a lot more finesse and control. The bonus for me is that the Pedal Commander also does a great job of improving throttle response and performance in the City, Sport and Sport Plus Modes! Sport + is like a hair trigger and not for the faint of heart!

Installing the pedal commander is pretty straight forward. On my 2018 Jeep jk, the tricky part was getting to the connection. It’s a blind connection so you need to go by feel. Also there isn’t a lot of room to maneuver around so some one with large hands might have an issue. Other than that, pretty easy to install.

I bought the Pedal Commander for my 2023 4 door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon after watching a few videos on it! This thing is amazing! I can’t even run my Jeep in Sport mode plus! I have to keep telling myself that is still the same Jeep with no extra horsepower but you can’t tell my Jeep That!! The throttle response is Crazy!! I’ve had the commander for about two weeks now and I’m still trying to find a balance between city mode and sport mode. I highly recommend this product!! It was worth every penny!!!

I just installed it on my 24 Rubicon V6. Wow, in sports mode (2), I feel like I'm in a race car. I pulled up to a light where the right lane merges with the left lane, and the truck beside me tried to cut me off (lol). He stood no chance with my pedal commander in effect! What a difference Pedal Commander makes! It's like driving a completely different vehicle. No more lagging response from the Jeep Wrangler throttle. When I press the pedal, it goes with zero hesitation. Pushing 37's on beadlocks robbed the Wrangler of any "power" it had. The addition of the Pedal Commander makes it a joy to drive!

Install was a bit of a pain but once it was plugged in I just had to run the wires and device to a spot to mount it . Started up the Jeep and took it for a test ride tried all the different settings everything worked fine very pleased with the results. Would recommend it for anyone looking for more responsive throttle.

You don't realize how much your throttle response on a Jeep Wrangler is retarded until you install a device like the Pedal Commander. I admit I was mildly skeptical until I stepped on the pedal the first time. After I installed it one evening, I had left it in Sport+ mode. Got in the next morning to leave for work and applied the accelerator as usual, and OMG! It lit the tires up in the driveway as I Ieft.
I used it soon after doing a long distance trip on the highway in Econ mode, and saw a good savings in fuel use and increased MPG for the trip... And around town, I have to dial it back because the Sport+ mode is super responsive!! No more skepticism. A great Jeep mod!!

The process was very simple and straight forward to install. The only challenge was unplugging the original sensor from my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. Probably due to it's age, but it eventually did come off without any problems.

I purchased the Pedal Commander primarily for the anti-theft feature but have had fun playing with the different settings. I have the 392 Jeep Wrangler and when I put it in sport+ mode it was almost undriveable. The power would come on so suddenly it would leap. That was fun but I keep it in city mode most of the time. I like how I can turn off my gas pedal at any time so it can't be easily stolen. I would definitely recommend this product.

I installed the Pedal Commander on my 17 Jeep Wrangler immediately after receiving it. The installation was easy and straightforward even with the limited room to work under the dash. After the install there was a night and day difference in the responsiveness from my Jeep. There is no more lag or bogging down when accelerating to turn those 35’s. This took about ten minutes to install. I’ve had it for two weeks, and can say that it does make for a quicker throttle response. I drive a Jeep JLU Rubicon stick, and have used the City and Sport modes. I use the Bluetooth feature for switching modes on the Pedal Commander, which is convenient; I do wish the app would work on my CarPlay. So far, the product has done what the company says it will do.

So far best thing I have ever bought. I now regret not getting one for my Toyota when I had it. Have a 2024 Wrangler Sport S 3.6 V6. It wakes this engine up like none other and helps with the gear hunting I had on the interstate. I keep it in Sport 1 mode. Get about 17.5mpg w/33’s. I saw about 1-2mpg gain. Zero problems and love the Bluetooth feature. If you’re wondering Sport+ any mode matches one for one how you push on the throttle. Great product y’all.

While my son did not have rave reviews with his Tacoma, I did not let that impact my research. My 2015 JKU, on 35s, 6"lift, and regeared became my everyday driver again. I drive 35 miles to work in NJ, from home in N.E.Philthadelphia, often idling and crawling in traffic. I'd never gotten above 12mpg and often sat in the 11s. With Biden's $3gal prices and having to drive the Jeep everyday again, I was willing to finally purchase the PC, out of necessity for a true eco option. The first two-days of driving surprisingly had me sitting steady at 15mpg. The Sport+ mode is awesome and feels like I'm coming off the line or accelerating with the Hellcat under the hood! Eco mode has become my steady setting, causing me to drive more patiently than before. The Sport modes will get their time to shine later in 2025 when my JK becomes my off-road only escape from the asphalt jungle that consumes me!
