Pretty cool gadget for the Jeep. The installation takes less than 5min and there is a very noticeable difference on the acceleration. I use it on the ECO setting for driving around town and I have noticed a small improvement on fuel economy.

I am not a big review writer but I wanted to leave some feedback on this puppy. Primarily because I was on the fence about purchasing it... It is not an inexpensive item. And I was not sure if something that made the throttle on my jeep a little more responsive could be justified. Turns out IT CAN be! Worth every penny. It took about 3 minutes to install. The most difficult part was positioning my body so that I could reach up under the dash. The change is immediately noticeable. Again, I purchased for a Jeep Wrangler which is not really known for its speed to torque. Yet this Pedal Commander make it drive with way way more pep to it. I would even say that the "sport 2" mode is almost too responsive if that is even possible. The regular Sport mode is just awesome. And in that mode alone there are 4 different levels. So rest assured that you will be able to find your own sweet spot. Note that you can make changes on the fly also. You do not have to stop the vehicle, put in neutral etc.. You do not even need to take your foot off the gas! It is literally as easy as pushing a button. I have not really messed around with the Eco mode, but I am sure it performs as advertised. In summation, if you have read about this product and are intrigued to the point that you are considering buying. Do it. You will not be disappointed.

My 2018 JKU RR was “Jeep sluggish” stock then I added 35s and it got worse. Pedal Commander fixed that immediately! My throttle response is awesome using City Mode and off the charts using Sport. Couple that with a Mopar CAI and my Jeep runs great and feels supercharged for a 10th of the cost and no error codes or warranty issues. It was a total pain in the arse to install because where the throttle control plug is in that JKU model, but that’s not PC’s issue. Highly recommend this product to EVERY Jeep owner!

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit 5.7L HemiI am extremely surprised with this little device. This takes out every bit of throttle lag I want (configurable). It can be hard to describe, but it's insanely more responsive. Great way to open up vehicle to it's REAL baseline performance.

I agree with other reviewers. This is arguably the best mod I've done to my Jeep so far. In theory, it does not increase power, but the improved responsiveness, especially from a stop, is very noticeable. I was skeptical and ready to return it, but I was pleasantly surprised how much driveability has improved. It doesn't feel as sluggish as it did without this device. Glad I purchased and wish I did it sooner.

Fantastic improvement for the sluggish throttle response in my 2014 JK Wrangler Unlimited! Makes the vehicle respond the way it always should have. While not a power adder, it does feel like more of the engine's power is available. Now to fix the sluggish transmission shifts...

This is more expensive than it seems like it should be for what it does (which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars), but I would definitely buy it again and don't want to go back to not having it. It only takes a few minutes to install, but the connector you need to plug it into can be difficult to reach. I installed mine out of sight behind the removable plastic panel directly below the steering wheel, because I don't plan to change the settings on it very often. It saves the setting so you only need to touch it when you are making a change, as opposed to each time you drive. I set it to economy mode when rock crawling to help keep me from accelerating too fast, and the rest of the time I leave it on City 4, which makes it very responsive and eliminates the pedal lag that you have on a stock Jeep. I like that I can turn it off when I take the car to the dealership and they don't even know that it is there (although I don't think they would have a problem with it anyway). I have already installed a cold air intake and performance exhaust on my Jeep, both of which add a little horsepower. This is not like that and does not actually add any horsepower, but it feels like it does because it makes the pedal exactly as responsive as it should be. As a matter of fact, I would say it had a more noticeable performance impact than the cold air intake and performance dual exhaust combined. It is similar to calibrating your mouse on your computer or the sensitivity of a game controller, if it is too slow it is annoying and if it is too fast it jumps past where you want it to go, but if you dial it in just right it seems to know exactly what you want to do. This does that same thing for your gas pedal. Once you use it there is no going back to stock. If you can afford the relatively high price, don't think twice - just get it.

I installed this in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 echodiesel . Its been about a week and we got a pretty heavy snow fall so the roads have been snowy. I got the Jeep on the highway and maaaan did I feel the difference. I started out on sport then set it to the highest point. Waaay way to fast for me. Ill be keeping it on sport1. I let my wife try it out she liked it a little higher, made my son sick hahaaa made me laugh.Id say this is a good buy, it took all of maybe ten mins to install. Very happy so far.

I wasn’t a believer honestly ...thought this was snake oil..but legitimately changes the engine feel of the 2018 JK. Car went from feeling heavy and sluggish to light and quick. Sport mode turns it into a beast. The 285HP engine is actually used properly with this enhancer and you actually feel like you get the horsepower and torque you paid for. I love wranglers but shame on Jeep for the current throttle response program set up. This thing flies now AND gets better fuel mileage...at least 2-3mpg

Put it on yesterday. When I hit the road I found myself saying out loud "Wow, what a difference". Now that I have this, I realize it should have been the first upgrade to the Wrangler (2014), not the last.The reviews are correct that it's difficult to reach the connection. If you take the plastic cover below the steering wheel off, then remove the two bolts for the small metal cover, you can sneak a peak at the connection on top of the gas pedal. From there, I had my sixteen year old daughter lay down there to make the new connections. If you don't have a sixteen year old daughter handy, the best angle is to literally open the driver's window and put your feet up there. It sounds crazy, but that position was stable and I probably could have succeeded if I hadn't resorted to the daughter approach.

Shipping was quick and the product arrived on time!Installation - it wasn't too bad, took me about 10 mins. I'm a bigger guy myself so getting under the dash did prove challenges but I was able to do it.Performance - I definitely felt a difference. However, I wasn't as impressed as some of the other reviewers on here. I guess, after reading all the reviews, my expectations of the power gains were a little too far above what you actually get. With that being said, I haven't used it on the sport plus-4 setting yet, so opinion very well could change. Overall, the product does make a difference and I would suggest it to anyone looking for some additional power/pick-up.

Just got back from a test drive, after installing. What an amazing difference wish I had know about it years ago. Install was a bit tricky but just getting in there and trying get to the plugs. Everyone knows how sluggish jeeps can be but this changes that, its like driving a whole new jeep

I purchase it about two weeks ago received it right away the next day I installed it took all of 5 minutes as soon as I installed it I couldn’t wait to test it I jumped in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler I started in city mode and right away I noticed the difference it was a different truck BUT I want more went to sport mode WoW the response was incredible not I stil have 1234 to go up in sport mode I’m scared lol I can’t even imagine it in sport + and on number 4 which is the highest mode I feel it will snap my truck in half lol but truly does what it says jeeps aren’t know for their acceleration but this thing changes that my opinion I think All Jeep owners need this thing it will transform your Jeep and it is not detectable with a scam tool they say it won’t void your warranty but I’m not sure about that you know how dealers are they look for any reason not to pay so beware but you can always remove in 5min if you need too MY fellow jeepers if you want some more get up and go buy the pedal commander it works and you won’t be able to wipe the grin off your face good luck ENJOY!!

Jeep Wranglers are turds if you have a lift with big tires! This thing dramatically increased acceleration and overall power. I haven't tried other programmers to compare to, but I'm pleased enough with this one to not have to shop around. You won't be disappointed

07 Jeep Wrangler with 35s, this product makes me feel like the Jeep is lighter and much better response with each and every mode you choose. City 4 works super well. above that it is crazy. Able to spin my 35s on Sport plus. Other results may vary, i do have a CAI and Gibson exhaust as well as a Superchip program and better sparks and heavy clutch geared at lowely 3:21s. Although with all these things, the Pedal Commander still showed its own performance enhancements up above every thing else. i would totally recommend.

I've had mine installed now for 2 days. Very easy to install, reaching the cable is a bit of a b**** but it's literally plug and play. I've noticed my mph increase from 13.1 to 16 mpg on the economy setting. Excellent throttle response when on sport mode, jeep is a lot faster now. Lol.

A bit of a challenge to get at the plug but overall a pretty simple installation. Completely surprised and impressed with the results. Completely removed the stock latency. I have been running in City Mode #2. It cost me around a mile per gallon in gas mileage but the responsiveness is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this unit.

This does not fit a 2016 Jeep Renegade with a 2.4L engine. I checked to see if this would work with my vehicle and got a message saying it is compatible. I'm sure there are models that will fit, but the one I received has the wrong male/female connections. If I can find one that fits I will update this review.Update:Easily a 5 star product. I was able to replace the part with the correct model for the Jeep Renegade. Great customer service. The Pedal Commander is everything I expected and more. Amazing product.

3 minute install on my 2008 Jeep Commander 5.7 L Hemi,cold air intake ,mbrp 2.5 inch performance exhaust..... now it turned heads when I had cold air intake and exhaust put on it now it just rumps.... Super easy to install and it works great! It's like adjusting the sensitivity on the gas pedal. The Sport -2 setting is the sweet spot for my vehicle; Its normal on take off but it gradually opens up more.

This seriously lets you take control of what your vehicle can put out. Manufactures don't trust the average driver with this kind of control, and for good reason. If you already have a Pedal Commander installed, you'll know why. If you don't, and you're a competent and safe driver, buy one and find out. Just make sure you test Sport, and Sport Plus, somewhere secluded before driving with it engaged on open roads. You'll see the tachometer jump, with the slightest pressure to the pedal, as the engine goes right to the highest torque range in these modes.I've installed a $1,500 Mopar exhaust, and $400 cold air intake on my Trailhawk. Dollar for dollar, this is the best mod yet.

Alright! So I know there's a lot of great reviews for this device and I can honestly say I'm going to be one of them. I was very skeptical about it and I'm glad I gave it a chance!I bought it for the ECO mode mostly because it can help save on fuel and keep the drive very smooth.I'd have to say CITY mode is probably my favorite because it definitely brings back lost throttle response but is not obnoxious.The Sport modes are insane!!!! The Sport Plus mode sends you flying back in your seat for sure, it's sooooooo sensative.You have to be careful because if you push down the accelerator like normal, you will be high reving everywhere you go.I have a cold air intake and cat back exhaust system, it sounds like I'm racing everywhere lol...Pros: Very easy install, and not bad to figure out.Cons: the ECO mode shouldnt take a special process to get. I almost returned this device because I thought the ECO mode wasn't working.Thanks to this fantastic reseller's quick response, they were able to help me figure it out.This is definitely worth the 300$ spent, trust me.

Yep...I'll be another 5 star reviewer. Installed in about 20 mins on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK. You will definitely bend in unnatural ways to get this in. I am generally not handy, but pretty straight forward. I mounted under the center point underneath the steering wheel column (near the bolt). It's completely concealed this way and plenty of cable to unclip and make your setting changes - I really like the OEM look, so this was a major concern for me. You'll have to fish the fittings/cable through first before you connect if you want to mount it this way.The overall experience is great. The Jeep is my toy - my daily driver is more of a performance car. When you touch the pedal it goes... When I purchased the Jeep, I was finding myself flooring it to get the response I am accustom to. After installing the Pedal Commander the Jeep responds more in line to what I expect. My preference is Sport - it's a little touchy at first, but very easy to get used to.If the experience in referring to makes sense to you, trust me...get this thing. It's a no brainer - even at the price.

Wow! This product alone is fantastic. What is so nice about it is the ability to adjust it on the fly. I can see I will tone it down during the winter months to not break traction as easily. But for summer, I run it on the City+4 mode and it is perfect.

Just got a Jeep Sahara Unlimited -- 2017. Read the reviews and was skeptical. $300 is a lot of money for a maybe. But did lots more research across the net and all reviews said the same; its a worthwhile upgrade.package arrived quickly. installed it last night. hardest part - like everyone says, is getting your body in a position to remove the old plug and install this pedal commander. the install literally takes 10 seconds - is the finding, getting right body alignment, and finding enough room to snap and unsnap the wires. took 10 mins tops once i got positioned. recommend taking some of the front dash off -- especially the skid plate under the steering.road test: WOW! holy @#$@#$. i traded in an Audi Q5 for the Sahara. and now the Jeep has closed the gap significantly to the Audi in "off the line" performance. hit the gas and it goes. As others have said, there is no HP gains but it sure does not feel like it. i tried the Sport + mode at "4" first, darn near gave me whiplash. i am comfortable with City "4" now. huge improvement in pick up power in your jeep. highly recommended as a plug and play, easy to install wrangler upgrade. makes a huge noticeable and very nice upgrade. again, highly recommended.

I use the City with a -2 sensitivity for my daily drive. Money well spent. With this added it feels the way is should feel from the factory. If you are planning a Super Chip do not purchase this. This should be purchased if you are just wanting to upgrade the throttle response. This is plug and play and take about 15-20 mins to install and play with. I would not use the sport+ mode unless you are wanting to get off the line first and roast the tire every time you touch the throttle. I have not seen any change in mileage in the City mode that I run but ,for me, that is the sweet spot for response on how the Jeep reacts. Keep in mind that this only affects the throttle. It does not add power even though it feels like it does. It literally plugs into the gas peddle wires under the dash. The cord is long enough to route where one would want to put it.

This by far was one of the best purchases I have made for my jeep! $300 may sound like a lot, but once you put it in, you will not regret it unless you're not a observant driver.. Then you may be on the front page of your local paper for putting your car through the front of your local quicky mart store front. The pep in the pedal is eye opening, and also a great deterrent from coming home to find your girlfriend out in your Jeep. It has a "sport +" which should be "stupid +" there is absolutely no reason I should be using this stop light dragging in my local town, but the look at mustang drivers face when a jeep takes them off the line is f'ing hilarious.

This thing is awesome. I bought it for my 2014 Jeep Patriot and run it on city +2 setting most of the time because it is so smooth and not too jumpy there because if you go to sport and sport plus it really does throw you back in your seat with the acceleration. I am super impressed with this product. Exceeds expectations.

Great! Installed on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler unlimited hard rock with a 6 speed manual transmission. I know it's not a tune but it sure makes the jeep feel like it has more power. Much easier to get up to speed and safer when merging on the highway. More fun to drive. Keeping it in sport mode. This does more than simply resetting the adaptives.

I have a driving personality like Dale Earnhardt.My preferred setting is Sport+, -4. I am no longer searching for the sweet spot when trying to accelerate.
